A manual for church ministries.
Proper order in church ministry allows God's work to flow freely without administrative sludge. Often our lack of planning, organizing, and order create a deterrence--a road block--to blessings that God would otherwise bestow.
Order in the local church is a matter of stewardship. God will not entrust us with greater ministry than we will "set in order." He will not entrust us with more people, buildings, or opportunities than we will effectively steward. While no amount of organization can ever replace the power of the Holy Spirit, order nonetheless is most definitely a prerequisite of dynamic ministry.
Just as the Apostle Paul challenged Titus to "set in order the things that are wanting," so every informative chapter of this manual will provide you with helpful, hands-on strategies for planning, developing, and executing ministries of the church.
This manual has been compiled from nearly three decades of ministry development in the "laboratory" of the Lancaster Baptist Church of Lancaster, California. It includes ministry manuals for practically every area of local church ministry, with practical instruction to systematically reach a community for Christ, disciple new believers, and involve a church family in the many aspects of the work of the ministry. On every page you will be challenged to increase your vision, to bring greater order to God's work, and to help your church truly be all that God wants it to be.
